Frequently Asked Questions
Will an App really benefit my church?
Approximately 30,000 churches, both big and small, in America alone are already experiencing the many benefits of engaging their people daily on the device they use most.
- 10-15% increase in giving (20-30% on days other than Sunday)
- 50% more likely to have members recruit into congregation
- Push Notifications receive a 50% higher open rate than email
- 68% of all users (80% of millennials) enable push notifications
My church is small, will a mobile app benefit us too?
Small churches or those with an aging population often ask us whether or not a mobile app is important for them. The answer is simple…YES. Mobile usage – even among older generations – continues to rise (up 11% in 2015), but numbers alone don’t tell the full story.
Last year in America, a well-organized and well-funded group sent more than 1 billion anti-God messages into our society across every major area of culture. They use television, radio, websites, social media, billboards, mobile apps, email, and more to advance the agenda of a Godless society. The people within your church are hearing and reading these subtle messages every day and their impact on society is easy to see.
Christians are under attack and need a trusted voice promoting Jesus Christ daily in their lives. The EveryChurch initiative is designed to give you that voice. Use your mobile app to deliver daily devotionals, inspiring push notifications (like text messages), pictures, videos, and more. We understand that many of our older brothers and sisters in Christ may not enjoy reading content on their phones, but they do enjoy videos, inspirational pictures, and updates on projects going on within your church or ministry.
Worried you don’t have enough content? That’s ok, we have content for you and you have complete control over what to show and not show your people. Everything we provide is designed to inspire and challenge Christians to emulate the life of Christ daily.
The enemy is sending messages to your people daily. The truth is, you can’t afford not to have a mobile app.
What if I already have an app?
We can build your new app and publish it to the app stores as an update of your existing app so your users never know the difference and aren’t inconvenienced in any way. All they see is an awesome new app!
Who maintains the app?
The EveryChurch platform makes it easy for you to manage and update your app anytime, but you’ll have a support team available to help you anytime you need it.
Easy-to-Use / Low Overhead
Our platform connects to all of your existing content sources so that the content within the app is driven by the systems you already use (Existing Blog, YouTube, Vimeo, Social Media, Etc…). That means you don’t have to do anything differently to keep your app up to date.
Your team will be trained to use the platform and in control of everything in your app, but the EveryChurch team will always be available through a live-chat feature in your backend to support you along the way.
How long will it take?
The initial build will begin within minutes of your signup. Our team will review your website, existing app (if you have one), and your social media accounts to get a feel for who you are, how you engage your members, and what you’ll want them doing in your app.
A project manager will then work with a technical point of contact from your organization to refine the app. Your technical contact will also be trained on how to manage the app. Once you’re satisfied, your app will be published to the app stores. A typical build takes 7-10 days to complete and can be published to Google and Apple within 7 days after the build process is completed.
